Programs in November

Hello,

We have two public programs in November 2017. The first is at the Little River Canyon Center above Ft. Payne, Alabama on November 4th http://www.jsu.edu/epic/EventCC.html with programs at 11:00 and 2:00 CDT. The second is at Cumberland Mt. State Park, Crossville, Tennnessee http://tnstateparks.com/parks/event_details/cumberland-mountain/#/?event=wings-to-soar-2017 with our program starting at 2:00 CDT in the Recreation Lodge.

Programs in September and October 2017



Hello All,

We have a few upcoming public programs in September and October.
The first is a 3 day event near Holly Springs, Mississippi at the Strawberry Plains Audubon Society's Hummingbird Festival September 8-10  http://strawberryplains.audubon.org/events/hummingbird-migration-nature-celebration-1 with our presentations at 12:00 and 3 p.m. CDT.

The nest, ah, next weekend we return to beautiful Chimney Rock State Park in North Carolina on September 16th. This is for their 9th Annual Flock to the
Rock http://www.chimneyrockpark.com/event/9th-annual-flock-rock/

On October 6th, we will again be in North Carolina at the town of Cherokee for their Veterans Salute Ceremony at the Fairgrounds.

October 7th, we are back at our home base, Rock City for their Rocktoberfest http://www.seerockcity.com/events/entry/rocktoberfest. We have shows on Saturdays and Sundays throughout October at 11, 1, 3, and 4:30 Eastern Time. Come on up, learn to Chicken Dance, experience German food and beverages and enjoy the fall colors of Lookout Mountain.

Programs in May 2017

Hello,

It has been a few months since our last entry, but we have a few programs open to the public coming up this month, May 2017. The first presentation is at Dunbar Cave State Park near Clarksville, Tennessee. http://tnstateparks.com/parks/about/dunbar-cave on May 13th for their Spring Fling Event. This is sponsored by the Friends of Dunbar Cave. We have presentations at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. CDT.

The nest, I mean, next day we will be at another cave, Russell Cave National Monument near Stevenson, Alabama

On Friday, May 26th, we begin our 13th season of Rock City Raptors www.seerockcity.com  as part of their Summer Music Weekends. This weekend we will have shows at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 4:30 and 6:00 EDT Friday through Monday and on Friday-Sunday for most of  the Summer. Come on up to the Rock and cool down. Upcoming programs in 2017

Hello,

Happy New Year! We have several upcoming public programs where you can see Osceola, Cayce and the other birds. Our first is at the Chattahoochee Nature Center on January 15th for the Flying into the Future event http://www.chattnaturecenter.org/events/event/flying-into-the-future-2/ with programs at 12:30 and 2:30 EST.

Our next public presentation takes you to old "Cain-tuck" with a program on January 21st at Kentucky Dam Village State Park near Paducah. We are participating in the Gathering of the Eagles Event http://parks.ky.gov/calendar/details/gathering-of-the-eagles/29431/ with our presentation starting at 7:00 CST

The following weekend we'll be closer to home at beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama for their Eagle Awareness Weekend http://alapark.com/Lake-Guntersville-State-Park-Eagle-Awareness-Weekends on January 28th. We have shows at 2:00 and 5:00 CST We will also return to Lake Guntersville on February 18th with shows at the same time.

We return to Reelfoot Lake State Park on February 4th for their 13th Annual Eagle Eagle Festival. We have programs at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. CST http://tnstateparks.com/events/details/#/?event=reelfoot-lake-eagle-festival-2017 Reelfoot Lake State Park is one of the best Bald Eagle viewing areas in the SE United States in the Winter. If you've never seen a Bald Eagle in the wild, then Reelfoot is the place to make that happen!

The following day, we'll be 30 minutes up the road in Union City, Tennessee at the Discovery Park of America. This place has a diversity of exhibits ranging from dinosaurs to classic cars. We have shows at 1:30 and 3:30 CST http://www.discoveryparkofamerica.com/calendar/?date=2017-02-05 So you can come out, have a bird fly over your head and still have time to go somewhere and watch the Superbowl later.
