Hello,
As you can see, Lookout is still around Rio
Patuca. He has been here for several weeks now and must have a great source of food. We're sorry that it has been a few days since the last post, but we are currently having trouble uploading the info from Google Earth directly to this blog. The image you see is more or less a "photo" of his current location. You can click on the image to view it in a larger format. By the way, in the far right corner of the image, check out the way "Caribbean" is spelled.
In some other news, we will be in Nashville this weekend at the
Cheekwood Botanical Garden
http://www.cheekwood.org/Public_Programs/Wild_West_Weekends.aspx We have a program at 12:00 p.m. CST. Come early and see the presentation before us. Dr. Charles Preston of the Draper Museum, Cody Wyoming, will be doing a presentation at 11:00 on the Golden Eagle. It should be a very informative program.
Speaking of programs, where is our fearless, ageless leader Doris
Mager? She is currently in Texas for her annual tour of the Texas State Parks. This week, she is at Ray Roberts State Park
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/ray_roberts_lake/ and will be there through this weekend, with a side presentation at Johnson Branch. Thanksgiving week, she be over at Fort Richardson State Park
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/fort_richardson/ for several presentations. Doris continues to amaze and inspire us at the ripe, young age of 86! To schedule a program with Doris, give her a call at 828-506-8106.
We hope to see you somewhere and if you wish to schedule a program with Dale and John, call 706-657-3278, e-mail
